As a recognized test prep center, we are a boutique quality testing facility. At The Math Workshop you are not a number. We strictly limit our class sizes and our instructors stay with you throughout the entire preparation process. Completing the 15 hours of prep does not mean our interaction with you is over. We stay in regular contact to keep you on top of your due dates and manage the entire cycle. The Math Workshop has been preparing students for the ISEE/SSAT/HSPT entrance exams for nearly 30 years. Our success comes from our program where students are guided through the process early on and are able to execute all the different elements of their application in a thoughtful and prepared manner.
There are many pieces to an application. We guide our students with our years of expertise to make sound decisions. We guide them to choose a school that will ultimately will be the best fit for them and their family.

In one word: Magic! My daughter was tutored by Mrs Vakili in preparation for the HSPST high school entrance exam. Generally not a good test taker, she did extremely well which I attribute to Mrs. Vakili’s process with her. Mrs. Vakili is not just a teacher, she is a coach, a friend, a confidant, a counselor, a motivator, and a confidence builder. My son works with Mrs. Vakili to strengthen his math skills and his confidence has increased two-fold. He never complains about “going to tutor” because he is so comfortable with her and she somehow makes the learning fun.
